Atelier
A workbench that connects what you select in the browser to the source that made it.
Atelier keeps interface changes grounded in the repository. Select something in the rendered page, inspect the source and relationships behind it, make a direct change or ask for a focused proposal, then review the diff and checks before deciding what stays.
Visual editing becomes hard to trust when the rendered element, its source, and the resulting code change are treated as separate things. A quick tweak can lose context, touch the wrong file, or become difficult to review.
Atelier maps a rendered selection back to its owning file and source location. The selection narrows the task; Graphify-style relationships add only the surrounding files needed to understand it.
Direct controls and model proposals pass through the same allowlist and exact-source checks. A proposal can change only the supplied paths and text, and a fresh read refuses to overwrite work that changed outside Atelier.
Every accepted change updates the preview and remains visible as a diff. Checks, undo, redo, and Revert changes make experimentation reviewable and give the interface a clear way back.
The hosted demo uses a bundled Sunday Studio fixture and keeps edits, history, and a tester-supplied Groq key in the current tab only. Explicit local mode works with trusted projects and adds persistent workspaces, real project checks, branches, commits, push, and pull request publication.
The demo does not execute arbitrary generated code or expose local Git operations. Refreshing restores the clean fixture. Local mode keeps the broader workflow behind explicit configuration and user actions.
