Recall

Turn notes from anywhere - handwritten, typed, or in Notion - into spaced-repetition flashcards.

Recall turns your notes into flashcards - handwritten pages, typed notes, or anything another MCP can reach, like Notion. Connect it to Claude or ChatGPT, hand over the material, and decks build themselves; FSRS scheduling decides when each card comes back.

problem

Flashcards work, but making them is the slowest part of studying. My notes lived everywhere - handwritten pages, typed notes, Notion - and turning a chapter into a deck by hand took longer than reviewing it.

solution

Built Recall as an MCP app instead of another editor. Connect it to Claude or ChatGPT, hand over the material - a photo of a handwritten page, a typed summary, a Notion doc - and the deck builds itself. FSRS decides when each card comes back.

outcome

A study loop that starts in chat and ends on recallapp.online - decks, folders, review sessions. New material becomes reviewable in minutes, from any MCP client.

impact

Live in production - auth, payments, MCP server, and scheduling all built and shipped solo.
